About Me
Born and raised in Durham Region, I spent the first part of my career in hospitality management & project management.
Throughout my life I’d have to say that my greatest quality is my ability to connect with people. I’ve always been a dynamic leader in each career path I’ve taken. A few years ago I decided to combine those attributes and work toward a career that allows me to build relationships and help people to find the life they’re looking for.
I do know that the decision to make a move is a huge one and I never forget that when working with my clients. It’s a fun journey with the best ending.

My wife and I had been living in the same home for almost 20 years, and talking about moving for the last 5. To be honest, we had put this off for so long for two reasons. First we didn’t really know what we wanted and secondly our little home needed some significant work that we had been putting off and were worried about how the return on our investment would work out.
With respect to the latter, Ken helped us find an excellent and reputable contractor who completed a full bathroom demolition and renovation on time and on budget. After it was done, Ken helped with staging and the house was sold for asking, in less than 24 hours after it was listed.
Now with that done, and most importantly, Ken helped us find our forever home. During the six months we were looking, Ken was patient, honest and incredibly dedicated to our cause. I do need to say, the search took as long as it did because we are very particular about style and location. When we did find the PERFECT home, Ken once again went above and beyond on the closing; which was painless.

Our father passed away unexpectedly this past April and my brothers and I were left with the very overwhelming job of preparing and selling his home in Port Hope, all in the midst of covid. I reached out to Ken Swan to see if he would be able to take the listing for us and it was absolutely the best decision we could have made.
